This year's selections span a wide spectrum of genres, including "And They Were Roommates," a New York rom-com series; "Shanked," a country club workplace comedy; "BK Coffee Shop," a Gen Z satire; "VHS Dates," a found-footage comedy exploring 1980s dating; "Sideline Archive," which uncovers forgotten sports stories through memorabilia; "That's That on That," celebrating uncredited architects of Black history; "Retache," providing bilingual stories and resources for individuals returning to Mexico from the U.S.; "15 Second Film"; "Mechanical Pencil," coming-of-age narratives inspired by 1990s Black cinema; and content from Taylor Cassidy.
