Organon & Co. witnessed a substantial increase in its stock value during pre-market trading, a direct consequence of the company's agreement to be acquired by Sun Pharma. This monumental deal, valued at $11.75 billion, stipulates that Sun Pharma will purchase all outstanding shares of Organon at a price of $14.00 per share. This announcement propelled Organon's shares up by 14.8%, reaching $12.93 before the market officially opened.

Significant Movers: Companies Experiencing Pre-Market Gains

Beyond Organon's impressive jump, several other companies also registered considerable upticks in their stock prices during the pre-market session. Onconetix Inc. saw its shares climb by 46.4% to $0.86 following the resignation of its chairman. DarkIris Inc. surged by 34.1% to $0.62 after announcing a $3.8 million PIPE financing and an $800,000 content asset acquisition. Aditxt Inc. recorded a 30.8% increase, hitting $0.37, recovering from a previous decline. Intellia Therapeutics Inc. rose by 25.6% to $17.12 as it prepared to release crucial clinical trial data. SMX (Security Matters) PLC rebounded by 17.9% to $2.45, offsetting earlier losses. Atomera Inc. advanced by 15.3% to $9.92 due to an expanded collaboration. Maison Solutions Inc. also gained 14.5% to $1.34, building on prior gains. Lastly, POET Technologies Inc. jumped 10.7% to $16.72, continuing its strong performance.

Pre-Market Declines: Companies Facing Downward Trends

Conversely, the pre-market trading also saw a number of companies experiencing declines. Chanson International Holding's shares decreased by 29.4% to $0.13, extending a sharp drop from the previous trading day. Cheetah Net Supply Chain Service Inc. fell by 22.5% to $0.033 after announcing a 1-for-200 reverse stock split. Nuvve Holding Corp. tumbled by 20.1% to $0.40, despite a previous gain. Q32 Bio Inc. saw its shares dip by 19.6% to $5.00 following a prospectus for a new at-the-market offering. Scinai Immunotherapeutics Ltd – ADR decreased by 13.8% to $0.64, despite a recent private placement financing. Medicus Pharma Ltd. fell by 13.3% to $0.27, continuing a downward trend. Fitell Corp. declined by 12.1% to $0.41, reversing recent gains. Nuburu Inc. experienced an 11.2% drop to $0.28 after filing a prospectus for share resale. Orion Group Holdings Inc. fell by 7.9% to $11.30, while MMTEC Inc. dipped 6.7% to $6.26.
