The upcoming second season of the college romance drama "Off Campus" is set to introduce fresh faces to its ensemble. Just weeks before its highly anticipated premiere, the series has confirmed the casting of Phillipa Soo and India Fowler, promising new dimensions to the beloved story of collegiate life, athletics, and personal growth.

India Fowler, known for her role in "Fear Street: Prom Queen," will portray Grace Ivers, who is slated to become a significant romantic interest for John Logan, a character played by Antonio Cipriano. The news of her joining the cast was playfully revealed through the show's official social media, featuring Cipriano extending an invitation to Fowler to join the production team in Vancouver, signaling her key role in the forthcoming narrative.

Adding to the star power, Phillipa Soo, celebrated for her work in "Hamilton," will step into the role of Scarlett. Her character is depicted as a talented theater artist who takes on the responsibility of guest-directing an original theatrical production within the university's drama department. This addition suggests a broadening of the series' scope to include more artistic and cultural elements of campus life.

The series, derived from Elle Kennedy's popular book collection, delves into the experiences of an elite ice hockey team and the young women intertwined with their lives. It captures their journey through college, marked by themes of affection, heartbreak, and the crucial process of self-discovery. These individuals forge profound friendships and lasting connections while navigating the intricate transition into adulthood.

The first season of "Off Campus" centered on the evolving relationship between Hannah, a reserved songwriter portrayed by Ella Bright, and Garrett, Briar University's standout hockey athlete, played by Belmont Cameli. It also introduced the other members of Garrett and Logan's hockey quartet—John Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) and Dean DiLaurentis (Stephen Kalyn)—along with Hannah's close friend and Dean's love interest, Allie (Mika Abdalla).

While the creators have not explicitly confirmed that Logan and Grace will be the primary focus of Season 2, their story is the subject of the second novel in Kennedy's series, hinting at their central role. This narrative progression is then followed by the stories of John Tucker and Dean, suggesting a structured adaptation of the source material.

The series is co-showrun and executive produced by Louisa Levy and Gina Fattore. Additional executive producers include Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman from Temple Hill, as well as Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty, ensuring a strong creative team behind the production.

The upcoming season aims to build on the established foundation of intricate relationships and personal development, continuing to explore the challenges and triumphs of young adulthood within a vibrant university setting. With new characters and potentially new storylines mirroring the book series, fans can anticipate a compelling continuation of the "Off Campus" saga.
