LeAnn Rimes has disclosed the postponement of two forthcoming musical performances due to a serious illness, adding to a series of recent health-related challenges. The acclaimed singer's announcement comes shortly after she underwent an expensive blood purification procedure and an unusual incident involving a dental mishap during a concert. Her transparency about these personal struggles offers fans a glimpse into the demands of life as a touring artist and the physical tolls it can take.

The acclaimed vocalist shared the news via social media on Wednesday, informing her followers that due to her severe condition, she would be unable to travel and perform as scheduled. The affected shows, initially slated for April 30 in Spokane and May 1 in Seattle as part of her '30 Years of Blue' tour, have now been rescheduled to May 31 and June 2, respectively. Further specifics regarding the nature of her illness were not provided in her statement.

Ticket holders for the original dates will be directly informed about the changes, and their existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled events. For those unable to attend on the new dates, full refunds will be available at the point of purchase. Rimes expressed profound regret for the inconvenience caused, conveying deep gratitude for her fans' understanding and unwavering support during her recovery period. She conveyed eagerness to return to the stage soon, extending her love to all her supporters.

This recent development is part of a broader narrative of Rimes' candid discussions about her health. She has previously spoken out about battling anxiety, depression, and psoriasis. Earlier this year, in January, she underwent a plasma exchange treatment, a procedure costing approximately $10,000, aimed at cleansing her body of what she described as 'micro-toxins.' Rimes likened this treatment to an 'oil change' for the body, and even showcased a bag of 'sludge' removed during the process to her followers, highlighting the intensive nature of her health regimen.

Adding to her list of health-related public events, Rimes experienced a peculiar incident in June 2025 during a performance of her song 'One Way Ticket' when her temporary dental crowns became dislodged. She recounted this moment to her fans on Instagram, describing it as an 'epic example of how the show must go on.' The singer managed to reinsert the crowns backstage and continued her performance, demonstrating remarkable resilience and professionalism. More recently, in March, Rimes posted a video detailing a 'deep jaw release' therapy session, where she was visibly emotional, explaining that the procedure aimed to alleviate tension in her jaw, often linked to stress.

LeAnn Rimes' recent concert cancellations, necessitated by a significant illness, underscore the persistent health challenges she has openly confronted. From specialized blood detoxification to managing dental emergencies on stage and undergoing therapeutic jaw treatments, the artist's journey highlights the personal and professional resilience required to navigate chronic health issues while maintaining a public career. Her consistent communication with fans reflects a commitment to transparency, fostering a supportive community as she prioritizes her well-being and prepares for her return to performing.
